1) Make sure, that CasparCG can be successfully started on your machine. Normally CasparCG is located at cgserver sub-folder in SmartCASTER folder.

Start casparcg.exe file. If there is no problem, you can start SmartCASTER. If it is not possible to start CasparCG, see log file inside of logs folder.


2) Setup media folder in Application settings -> Folders -> Media folder



3) Restart application and server by using this option. Do not use regular windows close, it will not close server.




4) Insert media from Media folder into playlist area (drag and drop)
